Parkside Yas Village – Concept 2 (The Lanterns) is a visionary residential masterplan on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, designed for community living, wellness, and sustainability. With a total GFA of 56,000sqm, the scheme integrates apartments, duplexes, retail, and community facilities within a green, pedestrian-friendly environment connected to Yas Island’s Central Park and Marina. ​ The design draws inspiration from the lantern, symbolising warmth and identity. Chamfered building corners create gateways that frame views, optimise natural light and ventilation, and reinforce the project’s distinctive character. A series of public plazas, landscaped podiums, sky gardens, and rooftop amenities enrich the urban realm, while shaded walkways, cycling routes, and active edges ensure seamless connectivity. ​ With a focus on sustainability and livability, the project incorporates bioclimatic strategies, vertical greenery, water conservation, and Estidama Pearl Rating standards. By merging modern architecture with cultural identity, Parkside Yas Village establishes itself as a dynamic, people-centred neighbourhood at the heart of Abu Dhabi’s entertainment hub.
