SANCAKTEPE RINGS

ISTANBUL - TURKEY
MIXED-USED DEVELOPMENT & MASTERPLANNING

about project

The Sancaktepe Rings Istanbul (2011) is a landmark redevelopment project on Istanbul’s Asian side, covering a total area of 250,000 sqm. The masterplan integrates 1,500 residential units, a shopping mall, a primary school, and multiple public amenities. Recognised with an International Property Award (2011), the project aims to revitalise a low-income urban district into a vibrant and sustainable community. The development features 93 residential villas and 120 commercial units, alongside a low-rise shopping mall of 78,433 sqm, designed with a natural ventilation system to reduce energy demand. Responsibilities included designing villas, coordinating with consultants, conducting client presentations, and overseeing project requirements. With its blend of retail, residential, and educational functions, the project sets a benchmark for sustainable urban regeneration.
