Concept 2 of the Vision Pavilion reinterprets the original circular concept into a semi-circular form, creating both a tunnel-like passage and an inviting open space. This design allows for flexible spatial arrangements and varied usage scenarios, making it suitable for cultural, educational, and leisure activities. Instead of elongated panels from Concept 1, Concept 2 features smaller shading units, offering adaptable coverage and a more cost-efficient solution. ​ While Concept 1 symbolises gathering and innovation through a full circular landmark pavilion, Concept 2 focuses on practicality, flexibility, and efficiency. Together, they illustrate two complementary approaches: one emphasising iconic presence, the other offering scalable design versatility within Masdar City’s sustainable vision.
